Program application and admission requirements

Answer

1. The Green Path Program is limited to high school graduates and first-year students from key universities studying in Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and there is no nationality restriction. Students studying in the Canadian high school system in Chinese mainland, and Hong Kong cannot apply for the examination.

2. Admissions at the University of Toronto Scarborough campus are based on the average high school score and the October admission test score from the highest to the lowest, and some majors have higher admission scores than other majors. Candidates should provide a competitive high school transcript with a minimum average score of 100 as a minimum of 75.

3. Candidates are required to provide a high school diploma recognized by the Chinese education authorities or the University of Toronto, as well as the results of the examination/academic examination.

4. Undergraduate majors have requirements for subjects studied in high school, such as Human Biology, which require candidates to have high school English, biology, mathematics, and chemistry marks. For specific requirements, please refer to the Admissions Office website (https:/utsc.utoronto.ca/admissions/programs-overview).

5. Undergraduate majors for students are limited to the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus, with a total of three voluntary options. The Green Path Program does not represent admissions at the University of Toronto's St. George's or Mississauga campuses.

6. The Vice-Chancellor of Academic Affairs and Provost of the University of Toronto Scarborough campus is the only university representative to determine the outcome of a student's admission. The University of Toronto Scarborough will notify students of the results of their admission through an email and online application system, and no unit or individual shall be entitled to announce the results of admission on behalf of the University of Toronto Scarborough campus orally or in writing.

7. The official registration period is from August 22, 2022 to September 30, 2022. Candidates should upload the complete application materials to the online portal through document scanning before September 30. After admission, the candidate's high school teacher, such as the Director of Academic Affairs, is required to submit the candidate's remaining application materials in the form of electronic upload in March 2023, such as the complete high school Senior 3 transcript (including the first to fifth semester), the examination/academic examination results, etc. The application materials required for the 2023 Green Path Program are as follows:
