The University of Toronto has three semesters per year: Fall (September-December), Winter (January-April), and Summer (May-August)
Students can choose to attend classes in each semester, and the summer semester is optional

Please note that summer semester course speeds are 2 months and 4 months, summer semester course code meaning (Session Code):
Y - May to August
F - May to June
S - June to August
Q: Can I choose to attend classes at an off-campus summer school during the summer vacation and transfer credits?
If you are considering attending a third-party summer school, please note the following:
- The School Admissions Office will not review the summer courses offered by third-party institutions in advance, and students must submit an application within one month of completing such courses, providing a description of the course content, grades, etc. Therefore, the probability of application failure.
